HOUSE OF PRAYER? Worship Leader Swings on a Rope Above Congregants in a Southern Baptist Church, the CHURCH BY THE GLADES Where David Hughes is the Pastor, While Singing ROCK & ROLLER LENNY KRAVITZ’s Song “Fly Away”

— Daniel Whyte III, President of Gospel Light Society International, Says, You Would Think Through the Severe Chastisement and Rebuke of the Lord Through the Coronavirus Plague and Other Plagues For the Sins, Abominations, Foolishness, and Worldliness the Church Has Been Involved in For the Past 30 to 40 Years That the Church Would Have Forsaken its Worldliness of Trying to Entertain People Into the Church, Which Has Brought in an Influx of Lost Tares Into the Church, Which in Some Churches the Tares Outnumber the Wheat, Instead of Witnessing to People For Christ and Discipling Them as Jesus Has Commanded us to do.

This Present-day Laodicean Church is the Worse Laodicean Church in the History of the World, and is Apparently the Church That Has More Tares in it Than Wheat Than Any Other Church in History. A MAN SWINGING FROM A ROPE OVER THE CHURCH CONGREGATION, SINGING A SECULAR SONG BY A ROCK & ROLLER IS ABSOLUTELY UNNECESSARY, DESPERATE, AND DISRESPECTFUL TO THE LORD and is Strictly For Entertainment Purposes. Whatever Happened to What Jesus Christ Said: “MY HOUSE SHALL BE CALLED A HOUSE OF PRAYER“?

Other Than This Foolishness and Worldliness, the Church Seems to be a Church of Great Purpose and Great Effectiveness. They Probably Just Need to Fire the Worship Leaders Who Plan Such Foolishness and Hire a Worship Leader Who Keeps His Feet on the Ground. Someone Once Said That When the Devil Fell Out of Heaven He Fell Into the Choir Box or the Worship Team Committee. That May be the Case Here. Pastor David Hughes May Just Need to Put His Foot Down and Tell the Worship Team No More Flying Through the Air on a Rope, no More Fake Smoke and Lights, and no More Singing of Secular Songs in the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. And he Might Want to Remind the Worship Team and the Church That God and Jesus Christ Direct the Church Through the Pastor, Elders, and Deacons, Not Through the “Creative” Worship Leader.

Juggling the heads of sheep to entertain the goats, FL, an 8000- member Southern Baptist megachurch, Church by the Glades, continues its celebration of all things fleshly. Known for their extravagant attempts to keep their members entertained, in the past few months alone they’ve played a cover of Run D.M.C’s sleazy and sexual song Walk this Way in church, a Kasey Musgraves cover which saw aerial silkists flying above the crowd, and a cover of Kendrick Lamar’s N95, only cleaned up and sanitized for church audiences, removing the curse words and racial epitaphs for a sermon illustration.

In The Power of Small series, we learn that Pastor David Hughes “continues his teaching on Proverbs 3, showing us how to mimic the behavior of the locusts by banding together with like-minded people.”

In a strong case for the Regulative Principle of Worship, the worship band plays Lenny Kravitz’s ‘Fly Away’ as the main singer swings over the crowd, with the only explanation given for the inclusion is that the church likes to “have fun’ and ‘be sensational.’
