
Business users looking to by Microsoft’s Surface Pro 3 tablet now have a way to purchase the device— from rival PC makers Dell and Hewlett Packard.
The company on Tuesday announced plans to sell its Windows tablet on Dell and HP’s respective online stores in a bid to increase the tablet’s reach in the enterprise market. Dell will begin selling the Surface Pro 3 and its related accessories to enterprise customers in October and will also be offering support, warranty and deployment options for the tablet. HP has not yet announced when it will be selling the device.
Microsoft will also be working with firms Accenture and Avanade to develop enterprise apps for Surface and Windows 10.
