The Word Network is coming under fire after letting Muslim leader Minister Louis Farrakhan interview on the network.

At least one Gospel artist has taken notice, and has passionately launched a social media campaign denouncing the comments and the inclusion of Farrakhan on the Christian networks programming.

Gospel singer Vicki Yohe has brought attention to the dispute saying that, “The owners of The WORD Network are NOT Christians.”

Other Pastors like Clint Brown have also expressed their thoughts as well after Farrakhan was quoted saying, “That he wanted Christians to see the beauty of Islam.”

UPDATE 8/6/2015: Mega Church Pastor Jamal Bryant is now lashing out in defense of the WORD Network.  Bryant was the one who conducted the controversial interview with Farrakhan, giving the Muslim minister a platform on a Christian network.  It’s unclear who invited Farrakhan, but the debate of such guests has reached a feverish pitch.

In the twitter screenshot above, Bryant attacks Gospel singer Yohe’s profit off African American churches, which seems to be a weak argument. Gospel singer Patrick Dopson then chimed in, firing back at Bryant for comments made to Yohe.
