6 days ago March 18, 2023March 18, 2023bcnn1wp The great-grandfather of Daniel Whyte III on his mother’s side, Bishop John Quincy Croom, one of the founders and the first Bishop of the FIRST BORN CHURCH OF THE LIVING GOD, was started on May 12, 1913, in Waycross, Georgia. It is a small denomination that spread across Southern Georgia and Florida. The legal case study document below reveals how that church mess was in the early Black church in America and how the devil can use the people of God and even the ministers of God to cause church mess. What is remarkable about this story is that this church mess, apparently primarily caused by Whyte’s great-grandfather, Bishop John Quincy Croom, was in the courtroom less than one hundred years from slavery and in the middle of the Jim Crow era. Just from this legal case study, one can see it is a fascinating story that reads like a short novella. According to this case study, Whyte’s great-grandfather evidently did some things wrong, as did all of his offspring, including yours truly, Daniel Whyte III. Even though Whyte is not a part of that denomination and does not agree with some of their doctrines, such as women being pastors over men in the church, Whyte is thankful to God that God used his great-grandfather to start a small Christian denomination that is still going on today for His glory.
