Whyte, who has preached the Word of God and the Gospel for over 43 years as an ordained Baptist evangelist across the country and around the world and who has recently preached the whole counsel of God and the Gospel nearly every day for the past seven years challenges York on another statement that he made: “Lazy pastors might be tempted to use AI for this purpose, York said, but not the great shepherds, THE ONES WHO LOVE PREACHING, who love their people.” Whyte has said down through the years that truly God-called preachers “DO NOT LOVE PREACHING” THEY LOVE HAVING PREACHED. They love seeing God do that anointed, special thing He does from Heaven in the moment of preaching that only a God-called preacher knows about — when God uniquely uses him giving him words, thoughts, revelations, and ideas that he has never read about before or studied before or even heard of before. Only preachers who have never been called by God to preach and who are fake, phony preachers say they love to preach. The truly God-called preachers do not love preaching because true preaching attracts satanic attack and opposition. True preaching is the most painful, the most difficult, and the most draining job on earth. One of the most physically strong preachers Whyte knows, who pastors a Baptist church in Thomasville, Georgia, says after preaching twice on Sundays, he has to take off Mondays because preaching for one hour is like working for eight hours on a construction site or in a warehouse. Most true, God-called preachers have a similar testimony or a similar experience.
