Daniel Whyte III, president of Gospel Light Society International, has stated many times to pastors that if Michael Irving, Jimmy Johnson, both of NFL fame; Charles Barkley and Shaq, both of NBA fame, have to wear a suit to give commentary on a game, surely men who are supposed to be representing God almighty and Jesus Christ and who are doing the most important work on earth should dress likewise. But the bigger problem in the church is the pastor’s wife, the deacons’ wives, the trustees’ wives and other women in the church wearing skinny jeans and yoga pants and such–that ought to be addressed as well. But it won’t be because we are living in the age of the WOKE church and the “cool church,” which Whyte calls the Judas church and the worst Laodicean church in the history of the world.
