BREAKING NEWS: Pastor Michael Jennings of Vision of Abundant Life Ministries in Sylacauga, Alabama, Files Lawsuit After he Was Handcuffed For Watering His Neighbor’s Flowers While They Were Out of Town and Arrested and Charged Despite White Woman Stepping in and Telling Police “he lives right there” — Daniel Whyte III Says the Pastor Was Wrong and the Police Were Wrong. The White Woman was a Hero and so Were the Three Black Women Who Came Out. All Four Women De-escalated Something That Could Have Gone Terribly Wrong Because They Had the Right Spirit and Attitude. All Four Women Came With a Spirit of Respect For the Pastor and the Police Officers and Not a Spirit of Belligerance Which Oftentimes is the Case When Women See Their Husband or Father in Handcuffs. In This Case, the Pastor, Pastor Jennings Should Have Understood That the Devil Was Setting Him up, Probably After he Just Got Through Preaching the Greatest Sermon he Ever Preached and God Gave Them a Great Service. All Truly God-called Pastors Know That the Devil is Going to Come After you Before Services, During Services, or After Services. For This to Happen in This Small Town Like it Happened, I Assure You the Devil Was Behind This to Either Get This Preacher Killed or Injured or to at Least Mess up His GREAT SUNDAY. This Happens all the Time in the Lives of God-called Pastors and Preachers. Now, What This Preacher Should Have Done is Whisper a Breath Prayer, Put That Hose Down, and Respectfully Say, ‘Gentlemen, Please Follow me to the Car or to the House, Come on Inside With me and Watch me Give You my License.’ And Then, Dial the Number to His Neighbour and Give the Cell Phone to the Police Officers so They Can Talk With His Neighbour. Now, I do Agree With the Pastor That he Should Not Have to do all of That, But as I Said in an Article I Wrote a Few Days Ago, We’re Living in a Time Where Many People Are Demon-possessed or Demon-influenced and it is Wise to do as the Bible Says and That is to go the extra mile. Jesus Christ said: “And whosoever shall compel thee to go a mile, go with him twain.” If You Want to Avoid Being Arrested or Injured or Killed You Need to do What Jesus Commanded as a Christian. What these Young Police Officers Should Have Done is Show Respect For This Older Black Man by Addressing Him as ‘Sir’ Instead of Saying, ‘Hey, Man.’ Next, They Should Have Given Him the Benefit of the Doubt After he Explained to Them he Was a Pastor in the Town and he Was Just Watering His Neighbour’s Garden. They Should Have Never Put the Handcuffs on Him, and Once the Wife or Family Member Produced His License, They Should Have Never Put Him in the Police Car In Front of His Family and Neighbours. That Was Dumb, Dumb, Dumb. By the Way, the Neighbour Who Called the Police in the First Place and Who Later Said That She Knew the Man But Did Not Recognize Him, Ought to be Investigated, Arrested, and Then Taken to Lens Crafters to Get Her Eyes Checked and Then to Buy Glasses Because She Almost Got a Pastor Killed. I Say Again the Same Thing I Said Last Week to all People–Red, Yellow, Black, and White–(and this is the same comment/article I wrote regarding the three Arkansas police officers beating up a white man), Here it is: In This Day and Time, (1.) In General, Leave People Alone Unless You Are Going to Try to do Something Good For Them Like Give Them a Gospel Pamphlet, and Even be Careful Doing That. Why? Because Many People Are Demon Possessed. And When You Are Dealing With People, in General, and Some Kind of Conflict Arises, Even if You Are in the Right, LET IT GO. — For Example, in So-called Road Rage Incidents. LET IT GO so That You Can Live and Arrive Safely to Your Abode and Talk About it There, if Necessary (2.) When You Have a Situation Where the Police Have to Get Involved, Which is on the Increase Because Many People, in General, Are Demon Possessed, You Need to Understand Several Things: (A) Most Police Officers Are Called by God Similar to the Calling of a True Church Minister; In Fact, They Are Government MINISTERS Ordained by God to Keep Law and Order. (B) If the Police Have to Arrive on the Scene, They Are the Authority in that Situation no Matter How Important You Think You Are. (C) You Need to Understand Because Police Officers Have Been Dishonored, Disrespected, Defunded, Abused, Injured, or Killed Over the Past Decade or so, and Who Are Sick and Tired of Having the Task of Raising Your Children and Babysitting Adults, Most Police Officers Are Set on Edge, and They Have a Different Mentality Today of Zero Tolerance For Bull and Non-Compliance. So if I Were You, I Would Not Say or do Anything Foolish to a Police Officer, I Would Not Make Any False Moves or Any Unnecessary Moves, and I Would Not Threaten nor Hit an Officer as This Man is Being Accused of Doing, and I Would Strongly Encourage You to Comply to What The Officer Tells You to do so That You Can Talk About it, if Necessary, Another Day.
Black pastor is set to file a discrimination lawsuit against the police after he was handcuffed for watering his neighbor’s flowers while they were out of town despite a white woman stepping in and coming to his defense.
Pastor Michael Jennings was arrested in May outside his neighbor’s yard in Childersburg, Alabama, after police received a complaint about a strange man and vehicle on the property.
Jennings, who was seen in the clip watering the flowers with a hose, had just returned from Sunday service. He told police his long-term neighbor asked him to look after his shrubbery while he was out of town.
