A 25-year-old mother has died after falling out of bed at night and suffering from a seizure, leaving behind her two-year-old daughter.
In the early hours of Sunday 3 July, Natasha Simpson, from Rhyl, north Wales, was airlifted over 100 miles to a specialist unit in a Stoke hospital after her fall, but on the way she suffered a ‘catastrophic bleed’.
Doctors found an aneurysm in her brain which had began to rupture and placed her on life support. The mother-of-one was rendered ‘brain dead’ and was pronounced dead two days later.
Her devastated family has agreed to donate the young mother’s organs.
The sister-in-law of Natasha’s mother Debbie set up a GoFundme page to raise funds for Natasha’s funeral and her two-year-old daughter Naylah who is ‘completely destroyed at the loss of her mother’.
Her mother, nicknamed Tasha, was described as ‘so full of life with everything to live for’.
The page adds: ‘Debbie, Tasha’s 59-year-old mother, is also having such a hard time both financially and emotionally.
