An Upstate pastor has been released from the hospital after weeks of treatment for a life-threatening illness, he and his wife posted to Instagram Tuesday.
Relentless Church Pastor John Gray and his wife, Aventer, posted a photo of an empty hospital bed, saying, “The devil wanted me to die in this bed.”
“Because of God, this bed is now a testimony,” his post reads.
Gray had been admitted to a hospital in Alabama on July 7, according to previous posts, and was in a critical care unit because of a Saddle Pulmonary Embolism in the pulmonary artery and more lung blood clots.
Last week, family spokeswoman Anne Torres released a statement that said John Gray had been moved from Alabama to Atlanta for treatment.
