Multiple people, including a D.C. Metropolitan Police Officer, have been shot at a Juneteenth event around the 14th Street Corridor, authorities confirmed.
The Washington D.C. Metropolitan Police Department said in a tweet Sunday evening that law enforcement was responding to the area of 14th and U Street, NW, “for a shooting incident in which multiple people have been shot.”
The department did not provide any details on the condition of those struck by bullets in the popular D.C. neighborhood.
