A Christian pregnancy center in Buffalo, New York was firebombed on Tuesday, in the latest attack on a pro-life facility in the wake of a leaked Supreme Court draft opinion suggesting the court is poised to overturn Roe v. Wade.
Fire tore through the offices of Compass Care located on Eggert Road in Buffalo, on Tuesday night at 2:30 a.m.
The message ‘Jane was here,’ was scrawled across the building’s exterior.
A pro-choice terrorist organization calling itself ‘Jane’s Revenge’ has claimed responsibility for previous attacks.
A facility in Madison, Wisconsin was firebombed last month.
‘Jane’s Revenge’ reportedly claimed responsibility for the Madison incident and warned of more violence if similar organizations don’t disband nationwide, Wisconsin State Journal reported.
In Buffalo, the windows on the building were blown out in the reception area and nurses office. Shards of glass scattered were amid layers of thick dust and debris.
Amherst Police Department, Eggertsville Hose Company and multiple agencies responded when the fire alarm went off.
No one was in the building at the time of the fire, a statement read. Two firefighters were treated for minor injuries, officials said.
Captain Chris Meyer with the Amherst Police told DailyMail.com they suspect the fire was arson and is being investigated, and asking the public for any information they may have on the incident.
