A mother-of-five was shot dead and seven others were wounded during a drive-by shooting in South Carolina at around 11 p.m. Saturday night.
The Clarendon County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement that around 150 people were attending a party in the backyard of a home when two cars approached and sprayed the crowd with bullets.
The shooting occurred in the town of Summerton, 60 miles southeast of Columbia. ‘
According to her family, 32-year-old Audrionna ‘Tutu’ Kind was shot dead in the attack. She is survived by her five children, the youngest of whom is just three months old.
She succumbed to her injuries at Prisma Richland Hospital in Columbia after being airlifted there, reports WLTX.
The victims were aged 12, 13, and 14, two were 15, another 17, and a 36-year-old woman was also injured.
