Kim Kardashian’s ex-boyfriend Ray J is denying her claims that Kanye West retrieved a hard drive containing their infamous sex tape.
On Thursday’s episode of The Kardashians, Kim, 41, was crying uncontrollably after claiming that ex-husband Kanye, 44, had got hold of ‘unseen footage’ from the 2002 incident preventing another leak.
However, Ray J – real name William Ray Norwood Jr., who dated Kim for three years – has branded the whole narrative of the story as ‘lies.’
‘All of this is a lie smh – Can’t let them do this anymore – so untrue,’ he commented under a Hollywood Unlocked post on Thursday that had asked if followers thought Kanye was being ‘real’ or not.
It’s not the first time that Ray J has begged Kim to stop talking about the sex tape, following claims that there was a ‘second video’ on her show.
In January this year, Ray J tweeted: ‘This needs to stop. I also have kids.’
He shares two children with ex-wife Princess Love; daughter Melody, three, and son Epik, two.
Meanwhile, The Kardashians episode showed Kanye claiming that he had flown to LA and back again where he had retrieved a hard drive, computer tower and monitor from Ray J, 41, featuring footage filmed in 2002.
The dramatic moment took place hours before Kim was set to perform on Saturday Night Live.
Making his debut appearance on the family’s new reality show, the musician was lauded by Kim’s friends and family as they gathered in her hotel room to watch her unzip the bag as she tearfully proclaimed, ‘He got me all of the sex tape back.’
The new series debuted with the SKIMS founder learning that there might be new footage from her previous sex tape with Ray J, enlisting high-powered lawyer Marty Singer to try and handle it for her.
With just 10 hours to go until Kim hosted SNL, Kim’s mother Kris Jenner was in her hotel room with Khloe Kardashian, when she got a call from family friend Shelli Azoff, who told her that Kim wanted them to come to her room, and to bring the cameras.
Kris added in confession that, since Kim’s room was just down the hall and she wanted them to go to her room, she could tell ‘something was about to go down’.
