WATCH: Michigan Coach Juwan Howard Punches Wisconsin Assistant After Getting Into Altercation with Head Coach Greg Gard and Sparks Wild Brawl

Michigan coach Juwan Howard hit a Wisconsin assistant after getting into a postgame altercation with head coach Greg Gard following the Badgers‘ 77-63 win over the Wolverines on Sunday in Madison.

After the game, as the teams made their way to the handshake line, Howard and Gard got into an animated discussion as they were passing by one another. As words were exchanged and fingers pointed, coaches and players attempted to intervene and separate the two before Howard threw an open hand at Wisconsin assistant Joe Krabbenhoft, escalating the situation.

After that, the scrum grew to include multiple coaches and players, with punches thrown before things were broken up for good. Following being separated, Howard and Gard remained on the court, staring each other down for a time.
