South Carolina Reports More Deaths by Motorcycle

In the past four decades, South Carolina has seen an increase in motorcycle deaths.

A total of 154 motorcyclists died in crashes, up 9% from the number of deaths reported in 2020, according to crash data reviewed by The Greenville News, the most deaths since 1980.

State Highway Patrol Trooper Mitchell Ridgeway emphasizes the importance of being on the defense at all times.
