Cardiac lesions were found on Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Mario Lemina in medical checks by Confederation of African Football medical officials checking on their condition after contracting the coronavirus.
Aubameyang is a striker for Arsenal in the Premier League, and Lemina is a midfielder with French club Nice.
Both were released to return to their clubs where they will undergo more testing.
