Krista Tyler (pictured left and right), an instructional technology specialist at an Austin middle school, sparked outrage by reading a derisive poem (inset) mocking book bans during a Leander school board meeting. Tyler’s Dr. Seuss-style poem slammed ‘evangelicals’ and called parents who have supported banning books they have deemed pornographic ‘kooks’ and ‘bigots’ who hate reading.
