Katie Bryant, Daunte Wright’s mother, told CNN’s New Day that former cop Kim Potter’s guilty verdicts are a ‘victory’ and bring accountability, but not justice, to her son. A mostly white Minnesota jury on Thursday convicted Potter, 49 (pictured grinning in her new mugshot), of first- and second-degree manslaughter charges for killing Wright, 20, during an April 2020 traffic stop.
