Search warrant is issued for Alec Baldwin’s iPhone after fatal shooting of cinematographer on ‘Rust’ movie set: New Mexico police officers want to review his text messages and photos

Police in New Mexico have issued a search warrant for Alec Baldwin’s phone, after the fatal October 21 shooting of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the set of his film, Rust. The search warrant, requested by Santa Fe sheriffs, authorizes police to review all text messages and photos on the actor’s iPhone, as well as any stored location data, as part of their investigation. Judge David Segura, a magistrate in Santa Fe, approved the request on Thursday afternoon.
