NYC 16-year-old who stabbed Barnard freshman Tessa Majors, 18, to death in Manhattan park pleads guilty to her 2019 murder and faces 14 years to life in prison

Rashaun Weaver, 16, on Thursday pleaded guilty to second-degree murder for the brutal killing of Barnard College freshman Tessa Majors, 18 (right), in Manhattan in December 2019. Weaver, who also pleaded guilty to unrelated robbery charges, faces 14 years to life in prison. Weaver is the third and final suspect to be held accountable for Majors’ stabbing death.
