Denise Godwin says these stories have been in high demand in Pakistan and Afghanistan recently. “We heard from partners in the region that in Pakistan, so many people are reaching out and asking for information about Christianity because of the increase in persecution from the Taliban there. The Taliban has seized most of Afghanistan, including the capital Kabul, in the wake of the U.S. military departure. As the group moved into one remote district, they ordered the locals to provide a list of the young girls. The Taliban said they would force them to marry young fighters.
