Los Angeles County sets Goal of Reaching Community Immunity by Late July

According to Barbara Ferrer, the county’s public health director, the county expects to administer 400,000 shots weekly to reach so-called community immunity by mid-to-late July.

As of May 7th, nearly 8.5 million doses have already been given; another 1.5 million first doses need to be given to reach the goal of 80%.
