There’s a Devil Loose: Florida Teen Admits to Following Mother and Daughter Home and Stabbing Them to Death With ‘Sharpest Kitchen Knife He Could Find’

Sage Curry (Pinellas County Jail)

A Florida teen is allegedly behind the random fatal stabbing of a mother and daughter inside their Tampa-area home.

The Largo Police Department says Sage Curry, 19, confessed to fatally stabbing the pair with “the sharpest kitchen knife he could find” after entering their home through a window, the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Curry had allegedly seen the victims, who have not been identified, in public before deciding to follow them home and then killing them with a butcher knife.

He entered the home shortly before 2 a.m. Monday, according to an arrest affidavit obtained by People.

Police say Curry continuously stabbed the first victim in the chest as she slept, according to the Tampa Bay Times.

Authorities say the second woman managed to injure Curry in defense of the first woman, then was also fatally stabbed by him. Her injuries were in the face and neck.

Curry abandoned the scene to request help from a neighbor, who contacted 911. Authorities then arrived at the scene of the crime and found the bodies.
