The Video Below That Jamal Bryant Made in Response to One of the Scandals Feeds That Narrative; We at BCNN1 Pray That He and Gizelle Get Married Again and Raise Their Three Daughters Together and That He Would Do Well at New Birth Missionary Baptist Church and Get on With His Life, but until then he should take a cue from his friend John Gray and sit himself down awhile until this growing scandal is resolved. Because this is the type of church mess that we believe God is chastising the church for and we really don’t need this when we are literally standing between the living and the dead.

Is Jamal Bryant about to get fired from New Birth Missionary Baptist Church?

The senior pastor of the New Birth Missionary Baptist Church is facing another round of allegations that cast new doubt on his relationship with ex-wife and baby mama Gizelle Bryant. During a recent episode of The Real Housewives of Potomac, titled “Reunion Part 1,” Monique Samuels accused Jamal of cheating on Gizelle (again). Meanwhile, Karen Huger claimed that the two were faking their romance. So, will the rumors impact Jamal’s career?

Jamal Bryant became the pastor of the New Birth Missionary Baptist Church a few years ago.
Jamal founded The Empowerment Temple Church in Baltimore, Md., in 2000, and he stayed in the same role for almost two decades. He was appointed as the pastor of the New Birth Missionary Baptist Church in 2018, replacing pastor Eddie Long. As some fans claim, there’s a chance that the rumors about his potential sexual misconduct and extramarital affairs might end up costing him his job.

Jamal came under fire for his sexual promiscuity on several occasions in the past.

He and Gizelle got married in 2002. They ended up filing for divorce in 2008, at least partly because of his infidelity. They rekindled their relationship in 2019, only for another wave of rumors to emerge less than a year later.

As Monique suggested in an episode of The Real Housewives of Potomac, titled “Reunion Part 1,” Jamal might have started pursuing another affair after he and Gizelle decided to give another shot to their relationship.

To drive the point home, Monique even grabbed a binder full of what she presented as evidence — including screenshots of the texts Jamal may or may not have exchanged with another woman.

“Your pastor boyfriend is slinging his big D all around his congregation, even in Atlanta as we speak, and you know it. You know it. You’re fraud,” Monique told Gizelle.

However, the allegation holding that Jamal might have cheated on Gizelle has been around for quite some time. The first articles about Jamal pursuing an illicit affair behind her back and potentially siring a baby came to light a while ago.

Jamal Bryant says he won’t appear on ‘Real Housewives’ again after infidelity accusations

Jamal Bryant, pastor of metro Atlanta church New Birth Missionary Baptist, made it clear in a video Wednesday that he will not apologize despite the growing commentary around his relationship with ex-wife Gizelle Bryant.

The Georgia pastor posted a stern-spoken, 21-minute video online Wednesday in response to accusations made by Monique Samuels during Sunday’s Season 5 “Real Housewives of Potomac” reunion show. Bryant, Gizelle Bryant and their children have appeared on the Bravo show for the last five seasons. After getting backlash on social media regarding Samuels’ name calling, referring to the megachurch pastor as a “holy whore,” Bryant expressed he had to respond.

“Tonight is not an apology. Tonight, I’m not asking for anybody’s forgiveness,” he said in the video. “Tonight is not about a confession. Tonight is for clarity.”

Gizelle, who stars on the show based in Maryland, had alluded to her and Bryant reuniting after being divorced for 11 years. For the last five seasons, the television personality has chronicled her co-parenting relationship with Bryant on the show. Recently, her castmates have dimissed her claims that she and her ex-husband have reunited.

“Jamal and I have been through a lot,” Gizelle said in response to a question by castmate Karen Huger about their relationship. “There’s a lot that people say. We understand it.”

Samuels quickly pulled out a binder of what she called “receipts” that she said proved Bryant was having an affair with another woman who lives in New York. Samuels said the woman was told the reunion was just for the purpose of entertainment for the reality television program.

Bryant said he has remained quiet about the show, which he disagreed with his ex-wife doing, but the accusations had changed that. Because of “mounting moments” on social media, he said he needed to make a statement. He also confirmed he would no longer make appearances on the Bravo show.

He said he has never met Samuels nor “shook her hand,” and that her comments were invalid.

“She’s assassinated my character on national, international television,” he said in the video. “You’ve labeled me a holy whore. I need to give some address to that …”

“I’m not sleeping with any woman in my church, and I have no babies in my church and I have no inappropriate relationships with any woman in my church.”

He said the woman he formerly dated in New York shared details about their relationship with Samuels as retaliation. Bryant did not directly deny or confirm that he was with Gizelle Bryant, but did note he has been divorced for 11 years.

“You can’t have a mistress if you’re single,” he added while explaining his relationship status.

His explanation was generally not well received, with many noting that the religious leader should not have given credence to the reality television flap.

Jamal Bryant Claps Back at Monique Samuels’ ‘Thirst Book’ of Receipts About His Personal Life

*Jamal Bryant, pastor of Atlanta megachurch New Birth Missionary Baptist Church, has responded to Monique Samuels’ binder of receipts about his personal life.

As previously reported, during Sunday’s reunion-special episode of “Real Housewives of Potomac,” Samuels addressed the rumor that Jamal and his ex-wife and fellow cast member Gizelle Bryant are “pretending” to be together for the sake of the show, calling their relationship a business “arrangement.” She also asked if it’s true Jamal had a baby with another woman while with Gizelle.

Jamal responded in a 22-minute video to Samuels’ claims that he was cheating on Gizelle with a female pastor.

“I’ve been divorced for 11 years and single people date. When you date, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. In this case, it didn’t. Nothing immoral, illegal or unethical took place. It did not work out,” he explained. “There is some clarity that needs to happen. I’m not married, I’m not engaged, so some of you have a strange relationship with language. You can’t have a mistress while you’re single. I’ve never had any mistress. She has never been to visit me in Atlanta, she has never been to New Birth, never been to my home, I’ve never been in her home.”

Pastor Jamal Bryant reacts to ‘RHOP’ reunion accusations of cheating on Gizelle

“Real Housewives of Potomac” star Gizelle Bryant caught the full wrath of co-star Monique Samuels during Sunday night’s Season 5 reunion, as Samuels accused Bryant of sticking her nose in others’ relationships while not having her own house in order.

According to Samuels, Bryant — who claims to have reconciled with ex-husband, Pastor Jamal Bryant — is being cheated on by the man of God, reading text messages she was allegedly sent from a woman minister claiming to have dated Pastor Bryant during his on-screen reconciliation with Gizelle.

Pouring salt on the wound, Samuels read the phone number attached to the damning text messages aloud, leading Gizelle, 50, to confirm it was Jamal’s, whom Monique dubbed, “Pastor Holy Whore.”

While fans are calling it one of the greatest “Real Housewives” reads of all time, Pastor Bryant is shrugging off the matter, responding with a cryptic Instagram message imploring his followers to remain unbothered.

“Give no energy to anything that doesn’t add to your joy, align with your purpose or pay any of your bills!” he captioned the post of a man sitting under running water while enjoying a meal. “Be at peace!”

Pastor Bryant also took to Instagram Live to more directly address the accusations, saying Monique lashed out because she believes Gizelle spread rumors that she conceived a child with her personal trainer.

Jamal and Gizelle married in 2002, splitting in 2009 due to Jamal’s several extramarital affairs. Gizelle announced their reconciliation in the beginning of Season 5.
