Chris Christie Tests Positive for Coronavirus Plague After Attending ‘Superspreader’ SCOTUS Nomination at White House and Helping Trump Prepare for Debate With Campaign Manager Bill Stepien – Who is Also Infected

Former New Jersey Gov Chris Christie has become the latest Trump insider to test positive for coronavirus, after attending the ‘superspreader’ Supreme Court nomination at the White House last weekend and helping the president prepare for Tuesday’s presidential debate.

Christie tweeted: ‘I just received word that I am positive for COVID-19. I want to thank all of my friends and colleagues who have reached out to ask how I was feeling in the last day or two.

‘I will be receiving medical attention today and will keep the necessary folks apprised of my condition.’

The diagnosis came a day after Trump was transported to Walter Reed hospital in Washington, DC, after he and first lady Melania tested positive.

Christie joins at least nine figures in the president’s inner circle who have tested positive after attending Amy Coney Barrett’s ceremonial nomination to the Supreme Court last weekend.

Christie was seen hugging and shaking hands with other attendees at the ceremony in the Rose Garden while not wearing a mask.
