Police are investigating a shooting that left five people injured in Deep Ellum late Friday, including a teen in critical condition.

Officers responded about 11:08 p.m. to a shooting call in the 2600 block of Elm Street, near Good-Latimer Expressway, where they found three males and a woman suffering from gunshot wounds.

The four were transported to a hospital, where officers discovered that another male also suffering from a gunshot wound had gotten there on his own.

Dallas police spokeswoman Melinda Gutierrez said one of the victims, a 15-year-old, was in critical condition while the other four had non-life-threatening injuries.

While no information was yet available about a suspect or a motive, Gutierrez said “we do have witnesses. We do have people who are coming forward and speaking to officers.”
