Welcome to The Prophet Daniel’s Report. This is report #681.
My name is Daniel Whyte III here to remind you that Jesus Christ is coming back soon and that you need to be prepared. This broadcast is not about predictions, nor is it about setting dates as some foolishly have done, however it is all about preparation.
First, today, let’s look at some Signs of His Coming in the news.
The disciples asked Jesus in Matthew 24:3, “What shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?” Jesus Christ gave them (and us) clear signs that show us when we can begin to expect to see the Coming of the Lord and the end of the world. Looking at world events through the lens of the Word of God, let’s look at some headlines from today’s news that point to the Second Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.
First, today, under the Sign category of PESTILENCES & FATAL EPIDEMIC DISEASES — According to a Johns Hopkins University tally, the global death toll attributed to the novel coronavirus hit 286,330 early Tuesday. In the three months since the virus was first identified in Wuhan [WOO-HAHN], China, it has infected at least 4,177,504 people worldwide.
Second, today, under the Sign category of THE RISE OF THE KINGS OF THE EAST — According to Reuters, U.S. President Donald Trump ordered meat processing plants to stay open to protect the nation’s food supply even as workers got sick and died. Yet, a Reuters analysis of government data showed the plants have increasingly been exporting to China while U.S. consumers face shortages. Meat buyers in China ramped up imports from around the world as a pig disease decimated its herd, the world’s largest, and pushed Chinese pork prices to record highs. Trump, who is in an acrimonious public dispute with Beijing over its handling of the coronavirus outbreak, invoked the 1950 Defense Production Act on April 28 to keep plants open. Now he is facing criticism from some lawmakers, consumers and plant employees for putting workers at risk in part to help ensure China’s meat supply.
Third, today, under the Sign category of EARTHQUAKES IN DIVERS PLACES — According to Ynet News, Two earthquakes shook northern Israel in the space of one hour, the Geophysical Institute of Israel reported on Monday morning. The epicenter of the tremblors was said to be in the Mediterranean Sea, west of southern Lebanon. The Geophysical Institute said the first earthquake, which occurred at 5:38 am, measured 3.2 in magnitude and its epicenter was some 8.6 miles north of Beit She’an [BEYT SHEY-AN] in the north. Beit She’an [BEYT SHEY-AN] has a unique geographical setting due to being located at the junction of the Jordan River Valley and the Jezreel Valley. The second tremblor took place around 6:53 am and measured 2.7 in magnitude.

Now, it’s time for Prophecy Bootcamp.
Prophecy Bootcamp is where we deal with the basics of prophecy, the Second Coming of Christ, and what will happen in the future according to the Bible. Our aim here is not to make predictions but to help you get prepared by understanding how things will unfold in the end times.
Our topic for today is titled “Where Are We Now?, Part 3” from Tim LaHaye and Ed Hindson’s book “The Essential Guide to Bible Prophecy.”
7. A crisis in the Middle East will trigger this world leader’s intervention militarily and politically. He will eventually sign a peace treaty with Israel, only to break it later.
8. A false prophet of international fame will suddenly emerge to gain control of the world religious system and use it to reinforce the worship of Antichrist.
9. Resistance to the world system will be crushed by a massive worldwide persecution. Men, women, and children will be slaughtered in the name of the world state.
10. Israel will become the central figure in the conflict with the world state. The Antichrist will eventually break his covenant with Israel and invade it, setting the stage for the Battle of Armageddon.
Lord willing, we will continue looking at this topic in our next podcast.
In closing, let’s consider what God wants you and I to do in light of His Second Coming.
Jesus Christ said in Luke 19:13 to “Occupy till I come.” In light of that, we are continuing our journey through the book, “Coming Events and Present Duties,” by J.C. Ryle. It is a collection of what he called “prophetic tracts” that focus on the believer’s duty in light of the signs which point to the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.
This section is titled, “Idolatry to be Destroyed at Christ’s Coming” (Part 14). J.C. Ryle writes:
The rise and progress of the evil in former days, you will find well summed up in the admirable Homily of our own Church, on Peril of Idolatry. To that Homily I beg to refer you, reminding you once for all, that in the judgment of your own Thirty-nine Articles, the Book of Homilies “contains a godly and wholesome doctrine, and necessary for these times.” There you will read, how, even in the fourth century, Jerome complains, “that the errors of images have come in, and passed to the Christians from the Gentiles;” and Eusebias says, “We do see now that images of Peter and Paul, and of our Saviour himself be made, and tables be painted, which I think to have been derived and kept indifferently by an heathenish custom.”–There you will read, how “Pontius Paulinus, Bishop of Nola, in the fifth century, caused the walls of the temples to be painted with stories taken out of the Old Testament; that the people beholding and considering these pictures, might the better abstain from too much surfeiting and riot.–But from learning by painted stories, it came by little and little to idolatry.”–There you will read how Gregory the First, Bishop of Rome, in the beginning of the seventh century, did allow the free having of images in churches.–There you will read how Irene, mother of Constantine the Sixth, in the eighth century, assembled a council at Nicea, and procured a decree that “images should be put up in all the churches of Greece, and that honour and worship should be given to the said images.” And there you will read the conclusion with which the Homily winds up its historical summary,–“that laity and clergy, learned and unlearned, all ages, sorts, and degrees of men, women, and children of whole Christendom, have been at once drowned in abominable idolatry, of all other vices most detested of God, and most damnable to man, and that by the space of 800 years and more.”
If the Lord tarries His Coming and we live, we will continue looking at this topic in our next broadcast/podcast.

CLOSING PRAYER
…….
Remember the words of the Lord in Matthew 24:42: “Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.” Matthew 24:44 says, “Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.”
If you are not ready for the Return of Jesus Christ, may I encourage you to get ready today by receiving Him as your Savior. Here is how:
First, accept the fact that you are a sinner, and that you have broken God’s law. The Bible says in Romans 3:23: “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.”
Second, accept the fact that there is a penalty for sin. The Bible states in Romans 6:23: “For the wages of sin is death…” Third, accept the fact that you are on the road to hell. Jesus Christ said in Matthew 10:28: “And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.” Also, the Bible states in Revelation 21:8: “But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.”
Now that is bad news, but here is the good news. Jesus Christ said in John 3:16: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” Just believe in your heart that Jesus Christ died for your sins, was buried, and rose from the dead by the power of God for you so that you can live eternally with Him. Pray and ask Him to come into your heart today, and He will.
Romans 10:9-13 says, “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
Keep looking up for your redemption draweth nigh. Let us join in the prayer of John the Revelator — “Even so, come, Lord Jesus.” God bless you.
