It felt like the entire sports world came together Sunday night to relive the greatness of Michael Jordan as the highly anticipated 10-part documentary series “The Last Dance” premiered on ESPN, and NBA players who grew up idolizing Jordan, along with a younger generation of players who were too young to appreciate Jordan in his prime, were blown away.

“The Last Dance” opened with a quick look back at the Bulls’ dominant championship runs leading up to the 1997-98 NBA season, and Jordan’s journey from North Carolina to the NBA. Here’s what NBA players were saying about “The Last Dance” on the night of the premiere.
