Romo, who is in the booth calling the game on Sunday, spent 13 seasons with the Dallas Cowboys at quarterback. In his 13 seasons, Romo started in six playoff games and won two of them. Furthermore, he threw eight touchdown passes in his six career playoff starts.
On the other hand, Mahomes is only in his third season in the NFL and second as a starter. The Chiefs have made the postseason in both of Mahomes’ seasons as a full-time starter and he’s been phenomenal thus far.
Sunday’s game against the Tennessee Titans marks Mahomes’ fourth career playoff start. In those four starts, Mahomes has been able to produce nine touchdowns passes. Remarkably, his pass to Hill is the first one that has gone to a wide receiver.
