Grandfather Claims he Did Not Realize Tinted Cruise Ship Window From which his Granddaughter Fell 150ft was Open Because he Is Colorblind and Says There Is ‘Nothing’ Prosecutors Can Do to him That Is Worse Than his Grief

Salvatore Anello is facing trial in Puerto Rico for the death of his 18-month-old grandddaughter Chloe Weigand who plunged to her death in July out of an open window on a Royal Caribbean cruise ship. He was holding her up to the window when she ‘slipped’ and is now being charged with negligent homicide. In an interview with CBS This Morning on Tuesday, Anello broke into sobs and wailed at times.
