Police in Oklahoma City say a suspect is in custody in connection with the early morning shooting death of a 20-year-old man at an apartment complex on the city’s northwest side.
Oklahoma City Police Sgt. Gary Knight says 24-year-old Mantraz Mentray Jones was taken into custody Tuesday during a traffic stop in south Oklahoma City following a manhunt that lasted several hours.
Investigators say police found the victim, identified as Demetrius Andre Spratt, at about 2:35 a.m. Tuesday after responding to reports of a shooting at the apartment complex. Police say Spratt died at the scene of an apparent gunshot wound.
