Ariana Grande is having a roller coaster of a week on social media.

The pop star first made waves Sunday on Instagram with a now-deleted post about JonBenet Ramsey, the 6-year-old child beauty queen who was killed in Colorado in 1996.

Grande’s friend, Doug Middlebrook, shared a photo of a magazine with the child on the cover which read “JonBenet Arrest Made!” Middlebrook captioned the photo, “no one has done more covers.”

The “Thank u, next” singer commented on the photo, “i cant WAIT for this to be your halloween look,” to which Middlebrook responded, “working on it already.”

Fans were quick to screenshot the post and comment on the singer’s behavior on Twitter.

“Wait WHAT?? an 8-year-old (sic) girl who was violently killed, strangled and suffocated cannot be anyone’s costume,” one user wrote.
