A Texas mother who disappeared after going to a concert on a date last week ‘could be in danger,’ according to police.
Erika Gaytan, from El Paso, was last seen on the evening of July 13 or in the early hours of Sunday morning, El Paso Police Department said.
She left home last Saturday night to go on a date to a concert at the El Paso County Coliseum.
The man she was on a date with said he left her at the Coliseum, where Gaytan subsequently called an Uber.
However family and friends said they did not think she would call an Uber if she was on a date, ABC 7 reported.
Her family claimed it would be unusual for her not to contact her son, 7, or leave him behind anywhere.
A spokesman with El Paso police told ABC 7 that authorities fears she ‘could be in danger.’
