Kevin Durant didn’t need much time to decide his future in the NBA.
Durant is expected to sign with the Brooklyn Nets, according to a report by ESPN. Durant is expected to formally announce his decision on his company owned sports business network The Boardroom.
NBA free agency begins tonight at 5 p.m. Contracts can be officially signed July 6.
ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reports that Durant’s deal will be for four years and $164 million.
Durant is expected to be headed to Brooklyn along with six-time All-Star Kyrie Irving, according to Wojnarowski. Irving has been linked to the Nets recently and is expected to sign a four-year, $141 million. DeAndre Jordan, the former Texas A&M standout and one-time NBA All-Star, is also expected to head to the Nets.
But the biggest name is Durant.
