WATCH: Dell Curry Told the Golden State Warriors Not to Draft Son Steph Curry

Imagine where the Golden State Warriors would be if they never drafted Steph Curry (we’re willing to bet they wouldn’t be on their way to a fourth title in five seasons).

Well, Dub Nation, it’s a good thing Dell Curry didn’t get his wish.

In a recent interview with NBC Sports, the former player and father of the two-time MVP said he told the Warriors not to select his son with the seventh overall pick in 2009.

“I remember (then-Warriors coach) Don Nelson called me and said, ‘Hey, what’s your feelings towards (us) drafting your son?’ I said, ‘Don’t. You asked me the question, I’m going to tell you the truth. Don’t.’ here to read more.
