Dallas Man Arrested After Slashing Brother-in-Law With Machete, Holding Toddler Daughter Hostage With Broken Glass to her Neck

The child being held hostage is visible from the house window.

Dallas police were called out to reported stabbing incident around 1:30 this morning at a convenience store in South Dallas.

Mike Forbes from our media partner WFAA-TV told us that one man slashed his brother-in-law in the head with a machete, and almost severed an arm during a fight.

Police found the man his house nearby on Sutherland Street, where he had barricaded himself inside, holding his 2-year old girl hostage.

This all started after the man stabbed a relative at a 7-11 in Oak Cliff at llinois and Corinth Street.
