In the midst of increased persecution of Christians around the world, a country on the Persian Gulf in the Middle East appears to be demonstrating how to implement religious freedom.
Bahrain is no longer one of the worst countries in the world for Christians to live. Open Doors USA President and CEO David Curry tells OneNewsNow what the country has been doing to get off of his organization’s World Watch List.
“They’ve been making big strides intentionally — the royal family, the government there — to create free spaces, safe places for Christians, for Jews, for Hindus, for Muslims to meet,” he reports.
Curry believes Bahrain’s effort to promote religious freedom could be a model to other countries in the region.
