Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said Wednesday that God wanted Trump to be president, according to a tweet from New York Times reporter Alan Rappeport. “I think God calls all of us to fill different roles at different times,” Sanders reportedly said, “and I think that he wanted Donald Trump to become president.” Sanders made the comments on the Christian Broadcasting Network, founded by media mogul and televangelist Pat Robertson.
