Super Bowl Week Kicks Off with Arrivals of Patriots, Rams in Atlanta

It’s now officially Super Bowl week.

Atlanta will host Super Bowl LIII at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Sunday. One week after the New England Patriots and Los Angeles Rams punched their tickets to Atlanta they will arrive in the city today. The participant’s arrival will begin in earnest the week’s events that culminate in Sunday’s big game.

Both teams will hold pep rallies before their flights to Atlanta. The Patriots will greet fans at Gillette Stadium and the Rams will host a rally at the site of their future stadium.

The Patriots have arrived.

The Rams are scheduled to arrive at 7:40 p.m.

The arrivals are not open to the public. They can be seen  via livestream at ajc.com.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution will be on the scene to capture photos of the arrivals.

The team’s first big event will be NFL Opening Night, the extravaganza formally known at media day, will be Monday.
