Adrianne Haslet, a global advocate for amputee rights, posted an Instagram photo of herself Sunday wearing a neck brace in a hospital bed.

The driver was cited for failing to yield the right of way at the crosswalk. Police said darkness and rain may have been factors in the crash Saturday, blocks from where two pressure cookers rigged as bombs exploded during the 2013 Boston Marathon.
