Trina Braxton’s Ex-Husband Gabe Solis Dies of Cancer at Age 43

Gabe Solis who was married to Trina Braxton for 12 years has died of cancer at age 43.

The Texas native died on Thursday in his home state surrounded by family and friends, according to an article on Friday by TMZ.

Trina, 44, who is part of the Braxton sisters singing trio and Solis married in 2003 and divorced in 2015.

The couple’s on-off relationship was documented on the reality show Braxton Family Values including after their divorce.

Solis and Braxton earlier this year appeared in an episode of Iyanla: Fix My Life to hash out remaining issues two years after they split.

Braxton and Solis despite their stormy relationship remained close friends.

His health issues had been kept private and his death was a surprise to many, according to TMZ.
