Today is the first day of Amazon’s 12 Days of Deals! Today’s category is “Home Improvement”—AKA discounts on tools, smoke alarms, and tool sharpeners. 1. A zippy wireless charging pad
We tested a bunch of wireless charging pads about a year ago to find the best options for phones like the iPhone 8 and iPhone X, and this charging pad was amongst the top 5 we checked out. Normally you’re paying like $50-100 for these “qi” wireless charging pads (all you have to do is set your phone on them and it charges wirelessly, it’s kind of magical). This one is way discounted today. Just keep in mind it’s only for Apple iPhone phones.
2. A helpful robot vacuum
A huge hit during Black Friday and Cyber Monday, you can still save a lot on a robot vacuum today. We’ve tested a bunch of robot vacuums, and the iRobot Roomba 690 is similar (within the Roomba lineup) to our best ranked model. Today, you can clean your floors in a futuristic fashion for over 25% off the usual price. Beep boop, that’s not a bad deal.
3. Our favorite immersion circulator
We also tested a bunch of sous vide/immersion circulator devices (we kind of test everything). While the original Anova was actually our favorite, its been more or less replaced by the smaller, lighter “Nano” version, which performs about as well and is more portable and functional. And we aren’t the only ones who love it—it’s also got almost 1,500 mostly positive reviews on Amazon! If you’re looking to get into sous vide, this is a relatively affordable place to start.
