Here’s Where You Can Meet the Authors of Acclaimed Children’s Series ‘Magic Tree House’

If you have children, you’ve probably heard of the Magic Tree House series of books — the number one bestselling chapter book series of all time.

WFAA welcomed author Mary Pope Osborne and her husband Will Osborne to the studio. You all are here in Dallas for three ticketed events, where fans can meet you.

The Magic Tree House books are often the first chapter books children read. “A Ghost Tale for Mr. Dickens” is a brand new holiday musical, performed for the first time ever Saturday at the Dallas Children’s Theater. Will is the co-writer of the script and song lyrics.

The new book “Hurricane Heroes in Texas,” is set in Galveston in 1900, the deadliest natural disaster in U.S. history.
