Students at Notre Dame are asking the university to follow its own policy that filters porn from campus Wi-Fi.
James Martinson of Students for Child-Oriented Policy (SCOP), a club at the University of Notre Dame, says students are asking the university to enforce a campus policy known as Responsible Use of Data and IT.
“They actually already have in what we call an Internet policy,” he advises, “that says that any student on campus must not use the Internet for accessing pornography, and so we’re just asking that the university actually enforce this policy.”
The petition has at least 1,000 signatures, which is approximately 10 percent of the student body.
