A university is being sued after it demanded a Christian student group allow non-believers in leadership.
Alliance Defending Freedom has filed a federal lawsuit on behalf of Ratio Christi, a Christian apologetics club, that is active at the Colorado Springs campus of the University of Colorado.
ADF attorney Travis Barham says the student group has attempted to be recognized by the university for three years, giving it access to funding and meeting space, but the school has repeatedly refused to negotiate.
“And so as a result, having tried to work things out in a friendly fashion, they have no choice but to go to court,” Barham tells OneNewsNow.
