Three Students in Custody and One Injured After Gunfire at San Francisco High School

A San Francisco school was placed on lockdown after reported gunfire.

A student reportedly fired a gun on accident in the restroom of Balboa High School, a mother at the scene told the San Francisco Examiner.

Authorities confirmed that the school had been placed on lockdown as officers went from room to room.

Authorities reportedly found a gun on school grounds but do not yet know who it belongs to, according to KGO.

Nearby James Denman Middle School, Leadership High School, and San Miguel Early Education School were also placed on lockdown.

The San Francisco Unified School District has since confirmed that all students are safe.

No details have yet been released by the police or school.

The San Francisco Police Department is investigating the incident.
