Before Her Death, Wynter Pitts Said She Hoped Her Legacy Would Inspire Confidence to Others and Help Them See God’s Love

Though Wynter Pitts, founder of For Girls Like You Magazine, passed away unexpectedly last week at just 38 years old, leaving behind a husband and four daughters, there are many gems of wisdom she shared that will live on.

The author and girls empowerment speaker expressed during a recent motivational talk that she wanted her life to be one that will inspire confidence and cause others to see God’s love.

“As I think about my daughters, their friends, and when I think about my friends, and when I just think about generations of girls that I’m speaking to and I’m writing for, and I’m praying for, and I’m thinking about them, my prayer is that [I would be] like Paul.

In Philippians 1:14, he says, it’s because of my imprisonment that more believers are standing boldly, that more believers are delivering with confidence the message of Christ.

“And that’s my prayer that, anything that I suffer, anything that I’ve had to go through, anything that I’ve had to walk through, that it would bring confidence to the people that are watching. “
