Criticism of President Trump for his remarks after meeting Monday with Russia’s President Putin in Helsinki continues to dominate news cycles.

Voters have little expectation that U.S. relations with Russia will improvealthough Trump has expressed optimism for results from the meeting.

The United States has imposed economic sanctions on Russia for several years in an effort to change some of the latter’s aggressive policies, but voters aren’t convinced that those sanctions have worked very well.
