Ribando also allegedly crashed an SUV into his pickup truck, according to Fox4KC.

The couple got into an argument around 11pm on July 3, a day before their daughters were found dead outside their home.

Joseph Ribando told police that when he tried to leave their home, Ribando threw a brick at him and drove her Jeep into his Ford truck.

Authorities said that both vehicles had damage that was consistent with Joseph’s allegations.

Joseph said he then went to his mother’s house and had been there until he was contacted by police after his daughters died.

Police still do not know how Ireland and Goodknight died.

Authorities said Ribando found her daughters not breathing and unresponsive. She picked them up and ran to a neighbor’s house for help around noon.

The girls passed away when paramedics arrived.

There were no signs of injury on the children and they were not found near any bodies of water, causing authorities to rule out death by drowning.

Authorities said the deaths were also not related to firearms or ‘road-related issues’.

The Clay County Sheriff’s Office does not suspect foul play but is still investigating the mysterious deaths, according to KCTV5.

A search warrant has been executed and investigators were searching the residence for any evidence.
