Michael Avenatti Mysteriously Obtains Michael Cohen’s Emails

It’s inconvenient to lose your phone contacts – whether through an ordinary mishap or an FBI raid.

When longtime Donald Trump lawyer Michael Cohen lost his, due to the later, he reached out to Keith Davidson, the former attorney to porn star Stormy Daniels, to get back in touch.

Daniels’ current lawyer, Michael Avenatti, says the email directly rebuts the claim by Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani that ‘of course’ Cohen is no longer representing Trump.

Avenatti further claims that the email to reestablish contact with Davidson – who helped negotiate a non-disclosure agreement between Cohen, Daniels, and Donald Trump – could show an effort to obstruct justice, though he doesn’t say how.

Avenatti posted the email on Twitter Thursday.

‘On April 9, the FBI raided Mr. Cohen’s home, office and hotel room. Within 48 hours, Mr. Cohen sent the below email to Mr. Davidson. Why? They had no ongoing legal matter at the time. Was it part of an attempt by Mr. Cohen to obstruct justice or worse?’ he wrote.

Asked how he obtained it, Avenatti told DailyMail.com: ‘I demanded it from Mr. Davidson.’

In the email, Cohen identifies himself as ‘Personal Attorney to President Donald J. Trump.’

Seeking to reestablish contact, Cohen glosses over the FBI raid, which had already made international news anyway.

‘I lost all my contacts as I had to get a new phone,’ he wrote Davidson. ‘Please send me all your contact info. Also, why did Anthony back out on ABC to do the story? Let me know how you want to communicate,’ he concluded.
